Recently my friend and I have started up a small company called "A Pair of Jeans".
It's an online store selling Greeting Cards, T-shirts and Stickers.
In the future we plan to have even more merchandise too!

There are several greeting cards available by my friend and myself,
and a sticker sheet of our mascots.. Muffin the owl and Sir Squeegee
the rat.
The t-shirts will be available soon!
Even if you don't want a greeting card... you can consider them really

Parappa the Rappa!

well let us see! An update on the progress of Pattern & Motion. The first, test copy, has been shipped out to me and is in transit! I just need to wait for it to arrive and take a gander at the colors, checking to see how it looks, then if everything is okay it will start being available for purchase.

I hope, really really hope it will sell well. It would be a nice boost to my ego, as I am kind of a nervous wreck lately. It also wouldn't hurt to have a little money for buying food as well. Once I move on my own in a couple of months, it's all going to be up to me. Scary huh? Life would be a lot easier with a room mate, but I'll have to make due without for now.

Current Projects in the works:
Fear Tango = All that is left is putting in the translations and finishing the cover
Pattern & Motion = All finished, just need to check the first print
Land of Lions = prepping to send to Publishers

Does anyone know of any good publishers? I currently have Dark Horse, Del Rey and Yen press on my list to send the Land of Lions samples to, but who else perhaps? (Tokyopop is not on my list for a number of reasons, but I am aware of it's existence, yes, lol.) Anyone? Any good options out there you think? Companies that are not so small that I won't get paid? Preferably companies located in America?

Oh and by the way. I am 22 now! And I own an xbox 360! I got Infinite Undiscovery, Star Wars Unleashed, Samurai Warriors, The Last Remnant and Devil May Cry4 ! And the best part? I only payed 3 dollars for them (not each, that would be the total amount spent!) Isnt that awesome!? Between gift certificates and presents lol, I got all those games for free *purrrr*

still working like a busy bee at my thesis. The new semester has started, so that's exciting.
1) It is my final semester of college!!! THE LAST TIME I ATTEND ANY SCHOOLAGE!!!
2) I only have two classes!!! So I only go to school on Tuesday and Friday. A pretty sweet deal if you ask me...
3) Lots of time to work on things like Thesis, Land of Lions and whatever other freelance seeking.

Oh man!! I am only two days into my vacation and I already have finished.. *count* 7 Pages and counting!!! BAM! BOOYA!!! I can't even fathom how quickly I will get comics done once I have graduated *streeeetch*

Anyway, I am aiming to finish this chapter before the week is up. Then I should finish the next (and final chapter of Volume1!!!) before my winter break has ended. Then all that will be left is doing some extras, then I should be able to add texts and all is well with the world!! I cant believe it *sigh* so close! I am really hoping that y'all will be interested and order ..the very..first... published...comic!!! It's Crabapples' first published work!! HUZZAH. Granted it will be in german...haha but I love sie Germans.

Well first off. I would like to thank everyone who gave me their opinions about my Senior Thesis Ideas. I have decided to pick Color & Motion and explained the idea to my professor, he agreed it sounded great! So.. I'm finally set on that! It's a big weight off my shoulders.

Also..as everyone knows Obama won! I believe it is the first time in a long time (if ever?) that people all over the world celebrating an American election, it's so exciting! But I guess by now you all know that, haha. I saw everyone made posts.

Still busy with school, I barely have time for my own drawings anymore these days which bums me out. I'm even having nightmares about homework, haha. This sucks..

I would like some input! Please give me your opinion!

The problem:
It has come to the point in the year where I must decide what I'm going to do for my Senior Thesis. And I have boiled it down to two ideas. Both of which I would have a lot of fun doing, and both of which I think would turn out great and enjoy putting the effort into. Both the same amount of work too! I cant pick which one, let me know what you think please?

Choice 1:

"ABCDog"
It is an idea for a children book that I have. It is an ABC book with a little puppy as the main character and each page displays an original pattern of the word representing that letter.

The Pros -
1)Its very cute!
2)I really want to try my hand at children books so I think it would be a great addition to my portfolio
3)I think it is something that might interest a lot of people and I could probably sell copies of the book.

Choice 2:

"Color & Motion"
It is an idea for an illustration art book, but this one doesn't necessarily have a story to it. It would be a series of illustrations of men and women in motion (backs bent, twirling, dancing, dynamic poses, etc.) using graphic colors and shapes.

The Pros -
1)It's something I -really- love to draw. People, Costumes, Tattoos and Motion
2)It has more of a connection to the kind of style I prefer to work in.
3)It would be a great collection to add to my portfolio

At the moment I am leaning more toward Color & Motion. But I feel like both would be a lot of fun and I feel for some reason that the ABCDog book might be something that a larger audience would look at and enjoy. but then again I don't know if that should be my top priority either. Please give me your opinions!!

Blurg a couple days ago one of my pictures got reported on ygallery because it had a panther in it. It was in the background behind the guy in the picture and it was black and kind of vague and not so detaild xD but it got reported anyway

I mean if it deserves to be reported than I wouldnt complain xD; but what annoyed me is that like.. it got reported -literally- within a MINUTE of me posting it. Like wtf are there people out there constantly hitting the refresh button and reporting whatever questionable picture comes up!? Its now been reported for two days but the mods still havent decided if its illegal or not xD; maybe theyre just ignoring it.

You know what rocks?? When you get to talk to someone you really admire! and they turn out to be incredibly nice.... For some reason I think it's really wonderful when people act that way. On the flip side I find it sad when someone who is really popular or admired by all, turns out to be a total asshole. I think if you are someone in a position where you are admired by a lot of people, then the least you can do is be pleasant to those who admire you, not treat them bad. Ive seen a couple cases of that lately and it was sad to see xD;
